Here’s what’s what. In the past few months, my husband and I have decided to move across country (requiring in our case a refi of our SWWWEEEEETTT low-rate 15 year mortgage into a not-so-sweet 30 year at more current rates to free up sufficient cash to re-roof & do little repairs so’s we can possibly sell and also a recommitment to frugality & savings), work has been hella busy, and my mother has recently been hospitalized to remove a LARGE (soccer-ball-sized, no kidding) tumor from her colon which has already been confirmed as cancer – what kind & whether they got it all is still to be determined, but she’s home and feeling better every day so that’s a good sign.
I am pondering killing the blog. I pay a small amount every month to use Typepad, and tho’ it’s not much if I’m a heavy user, it seems a waste if I’m not gonna blog. I’m so infrequently here, I know the handful of people who pop by (hi, guys!) are bored to tears when they see the same crap here week after week.
